An audiovisual production company.
Based in Mexico City with an international outlook, we develop and produce fiction, documentary and audiovisual projects for third parties, both in Mexico and abroad.
We look for stories with an identity of their own and work to turn them into solid projects, capable of finding their audience and sustaining themselves economically. We believe creative ambition and viability are not opposing forces: a good production must protect both.
Our team brings together experience in directing, production, executive production and post-production, which allows us to accompany a project from development through final delivery.
We develop and produce feature films, documentaries and other audiovisual formats from their earliest stages.
We are drawn to projects with a clear point of view and a reason to exist, regardless of genre or scale. We work from creative and financial development to build films with identity, but also with a realistic strategy for production, financing, distribution and audience.
We take part in national and international co-productions, contributing development, executive production, financial structure and production capacity.
We aim to build long-term alliances with producers, filmmakers, funds and partners that allow each project to reach its best creative and commercial version.
We produce for national and international companies, studios and teams that need a local or executive partner to carry out a production.
We work in Mexico and other territories, coordinating crews, budgets, locations, logistics, shoots and post-production according to the needs of each project.
We work selectively with brands, agencies and collaborators on advertising, branded content and other audiovisual formats.
We apply the same standard as in our own productions: production rigor, visual care and attention to detail.
We are interested in film and audiovisual work that has something to say and its own way of saying it.
We don’t believe a film has to choose between identity and viability. Our job as producers is precisely to find the balance between creative vision, available resources, the market and the audience.
Every project demands a different strategy. Some need time; others, speed. Some are born for festivals; others seek a wide audience. Producing means understanding what each one needs and building around it.
We want Nuevo Norte to be a structure capable of developing its own projects, producing for others and building lasting relationships in and beyond Mexico.
